Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dry Ingredients
  • Flocons Gluten Free Self Raising Flour 500g
  • Brown sugar 250g
  • White sugar 125g
Wet Ingredients
  • Butter 300g (softened)
  • Milk 100ml
  • Vanilla Essence 20ml
  • Chocolate Chips 300g
  • Egg Yolks (4) room temp
Method
  1. In the bowl of the mixer, place the milk, then pour melted butter over it. Add brown & white sugar & mix on medium speed for 2 mins
  2. Add vanilla essence and egg yolks mixing on low speed for 2 mins
  3. Add flour & mix on low speed for 2 mins
  4. Add the chocolate chips & mix thoroughly with a spatula
  5. Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap & refrigerate for 4 hrs
  6. Remove from refrigerator & let sit for about 1hr
  7. Preheat oven to 190°C
  8. Line cookie sheets with sheets of parchment papers. Refrain from spraying or using oil
  9. Use a cookie scoop to mound 25g
  10. Bake the cookies for 10 mins at 190°C
  11. Let the cookies sit on the cookie sheet for 5 mins before removing to a cooling rack to finish cooling
